We’re Currently Looking for a Fantastic Sauté Chef!

Mint is a vibrant restaurant and craft cocktail bar rooted in local farms, sustainability, and culinary creativity. With a second location newly opened in Slingerlands, we're building a passionate, skilled team to help us bring thoughtful food to life.

We’re currently hiring a Sauté Chef to join our back-of-house crew. This role is ideal for someone with solid line experience, a strong sense of timing and organization, and a love of fresh, from-scratch cooking.

What You’ll Do:

  • Take charge of the sauté station during lunch and/or dinner service

  • Execute seasonal, rotating menus with precision and consistency

  • Support prep, plating, and team communication to keep the kitchen running smoothly

  • Maintain high cleanliness and safety standards

  • Collaborate with our Chef to learn, grow, and contribute to an inspiring kitchen culture

What We’re Looking For:

  • At least 1–2 years of experience on a busy line (sauté experience preferred)

  • A calm and focused presence during high-volume service

  • Passion for local ingredients and thoughtfully prepared food

  • Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed
